I’m a graphic recorder and visual specialist based in Victoria, BC. I’ve graphic recorded and created hand drawn videos for governments, small businesses, and community groups across Canada.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and am a member of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners. I also have a strong health care background in mental health and addictions, community engagement, physician relations, and health care integration. This has allowed me to partner with communities, aboriginals, health professionals and various levels of government. My training with the International Association of Public Participation has given me a foundation in collaborative processes and stakeholder engagement.

A lot of my work ethic and outlook on life comes from having lived in vastly different locations. I was born in Kawakawa, New Zealand and moved with my family to the Columbia Valley of BC. We spent four years living in Iqaluit, Nunavut in Canada’s far north, followed by eleven years in Whitehorse, Yukon. Eventually I settled in beautiful Victoria, BC (where the climate is much different from Iqaluit!).

I’m also a member of the Rethink Urban team — a collaborative of people looking at best practices for great cities through engagement, places and spaces, and creative change.
